Maruti Suzuki strongly believes that an investment in environment friendly products and manufacturing facilities is in the best interest of the society as well as the business. Since Maruti Suzuki started operations, conserving environment and energy saving resources has been an integral part of our systems and processes.
In this process, Maruti Suzuki consciously adopted highly energy efficient Goldwyn LED street light for their Gurgaon and Manesar Plant. Maruti Suzuki has taken the decision of replacing all the conventional street lighting with LED Street light. They have already replaced 350 nos of 250W HPSV with our 63W LED street light and 480 nos of 70W HPSV with our 30W LED street light and with the use of these street lights they are not only saving energy but also helping the environment by reducing the carbon footprint.
This energy conservation step in lighting system has enabled Maruti Suzuki Gurgaon and Manesar plant to save Rs 28,94,750 annually on Electricity & Maintenance bill.
